Champions League football was back on Tuesday and Wednesday evening after a three-week break due to international football, and it was a week to forget for the Serie A teams as they both came away with no points and eight goals conceded between the two of them.

AS Roma took centre stage on Tuesday night in their massive tie with Bayern Munich in Rome, whilst Juve went to Greece for their clash with Olympiakos.
