Manchester United snatched a 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Old Trafford thanks to a late goal from Robin van Persie.
Chelsea looked to be heading for a comfortable win after Didier Drogba headed the Blues ahead mid-way through the second half. In truth the visitors had looked comfortable for much of the game, but a lapse in concentration after Branislav Ivanovic was sent off allowed Van Persie to strike after Marouane Fellaini had caused havoc.
Manchester United will certainly consider this as a point gained rather than two dropped - now check out who played the biggest role in their battling draw that leaves them in 8th place overall.
De Gea - 8: Remains one of the best in the Premier League. One stunning save from Eden Hazard in particular caught the eye.
Rafael - 5: One question and one question only; why was he marking Drogba for the goal? Booked early on.
Shaw - 6.5: His best game in a Manchester United shirt so far - linked up well with Adnan Januzaj and was solid at the back
Rojo - 5: The Argentinian continues to be prone to producing errors and could have cost his team dear. Still has something about him though.
Smalling 6: Stepped into the side in place of Phil Jones, but lucky not to give away a penalty for a foul on Ivanovic. Battled gamely with Drogba.
Blind 6: There are still plenty of doubts about the Dutchman. He's not a classic holding midfielder and can give away the ball cheaply at times.
Fellaini 7.5: Pushed forward a little by Van Gaal, Fellaini did well and stuck to his task admirably. Wasn't given the service he required but still warranted his place - which he further demonstrated with his contribution to the goal.
Januzaj 7: There's a reason this boy is so highly rated by Manchester United. He drove at the Chelsea defence regularly and was a threat. Linked up well with Shaw.
Di Maria 6: The Argentinian has been superb for Manchester United so far this season, but today he was a little lacklustre although he proved his quality for the goal. That may have something to do with a thigh injury that has been troubling him.
Mata - 6: By no means a stellar performance and he's capable of so much more. However, given he was up against Fabregas and Matic he did ok before being replaced by Wilson.
Van Persie - 6: Made up for his part in the Chelsea goal by pouncing late on to help the Red Devils snatch a point.News Now - Sport News
