New England Patriots Tom Brady sends funny message to the Chicago Bears

Football News

It was a dominant performance for the New England Patriots on Sunday as they beat the struggling Chicago Bears 51-23 at Gillette Stadium.

Brady himself had a great day as he threw for 354 yards culminating in five touchdowns as the Patriots breezed through the Bears.

Well after the Patriots' highest scoring performance of the season, their star Quarterback has sent a little message to the Bears - with the help of his super model wife Gisele.

The two came together for a couples picture with Tom holding up five fingers and Gisele holding up one.

With the obvious joke being made towards the 51 points scored by New England on Sunday, the picture was posted to Instagram

Posted on Instagram by Gisele herself with the caption "So happy for my love!!! Go Pats!!! 51 points!!!" she was clearly happy for her husband.

Brady has come under a lot of criticism so far this season but after now leading the Patriots on a four game winning streak, his critics seem to have all but disappeared.

Brady made Patriots history on Sunday as he and Tight-end Rob Gronkowski connected for four touchdown passes and set the franchise record for touchdown passes between a Quarterback and Tight-end.

They almost single handedly took apart the Bears defence and they will need a similar performance next week when they welcome Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.

Ready to ride

The Patriots are on a crash course with the Broncos next Sunday in a replay of last year's AFC Championship game.

It is yet another clash between two of the games greatest in Brady and Manning and if it is anything like last year's clash in Foxborough, it will be well worth a viewing.

Last year the Patriots were down 24-0 at half-time in their regular season clash and pulled off a phenomenal comeback to get the 34-31 victory.

The Broncos got the last laugh as they overcame the Patriots in the AFC Championship game to progress to the Super Bowl.

Next week they face a Broncos team who look far more impressive than last year and are currently enjoying a four game winning streak of their own.
