David Moyes new job

Former Manchester United boss David Moyes has reportedly met with Real Sociedad president Jagoba Arrasate in London, as the Spaniard wants him to become his new manager.

Moyes was infamously sacked from his position at Old Trafford after a terrible few months in charge, but is now likely to get a chance to redeem himself in La Liga.


Eubank JR's title eliminator

In boxing the upcoming bout between Billy Joe Saunders and arch-rival Chris Eubank Jr has been given added spice by being made a title eliminator.

The fight was already being billed as one of potentially epic proportions but fans now have another reason to get excited, with the winner looking set to face the victor of the Matt Korobov vs Andy Lee clash in December.

Murray makes ATP World Tour finals

In tennis Andy Murray finally secured his place in the ATP World Tour finals, by way of beating Grigor Dimitrov at the Paris Masters.

For a long-time it looked as though the Scot might be missing from the all-star lineup set to compete next month, but Murray’s 6-3, 6-3 triumph over Dimitrov was enough to push him over the line.

Williams beats Ronnie O'Sullivan

And finally in snooker Mark Williams advanced to the semi-finals of the International Championship in China, by knocking out five-time World Champion Ronnie O’Sullivan.

Williams have failed to beat his opponent in any of their encounters over the last 12 years, but edged a close battle to banish the hoodoo.
