Manchester United midfielder Daley Blind has revealed on Instagram the new boots he will wear against Manchester City in this weekend's derby clash at the Etihad Stadium, showcasing a rather garish looking green pair of Predator Instincts.
The £14 million summer signing from Ajax took to social media on Friday to post a picture of his Adidas footwear that will hopefully help him bring back three points for the Red Devils against their inner city rivals on Sunday.
Blind has made a promising start to life at Old Trafford, and has been an ever present in Louis van Gaal's side since joining from the reigning Eredivisie champions in the final days of the transfer window.
The 24-year-old has arguably been the most consistent of Manchester United's six recent arrivals, impressing in a deep-lying defensive midfield role. His form means that Blind is almost a guaranteed starter when they travel to the Citizens.
United will be looking to extend their four game unbeaten run whilst also heaping more misery on under pressure Chilean coach Manuel Pellegrini, whose side come into this weekend's game after back-to-back defeats against West Ham and Newcastle United in the Premier League and Capital One Cup.

All eyes will be on Van Gaal's men to see if they are capable of beating City this weekend as they look to orchestrate a significant upturn in form to challenge once again in the higher echelons of the division.
Blind's new boots might help take some of the attention away from critical analysis of the team's credentials, but by the full-time whistle onlookers will have a much clearer idea of what to expect from Manchester United after two difficult matches against the two leading contenders for this year's Premier League title.
