Mexican striker Javier Hernandez has hinted that his Manchester United career could be over as he looks to seal a permanent move to Spanish giants Real Madrid, reports the Express.
The 26-year-old forward - who endured a tricky campaign at Old Trafford under David Moyes last term - has revealed that Manchester United decided that he could no long help the club as they plan for the future.
Hernandez, of course, completed a season-long loan move to the Bernabeu this past summer, whilst United splashed the cash as new manager Louis van Gaal brought the likes of Radamel Falcao and Angel di Maria and Co. to the club.
It appears, then, that the Mexican ace may never play for the club again as he looks to impress Carlo Ancelotti in Spain.
Speaking to reporters, Hernandez said: “They thought I couldn’t help any more at United so we decided by mutual agreement that I would leave.

“It was difficult, although I had offers from other teams, but when I got the opportunity to come to Real Madrid I didn’t hesitate.
“It was the toughest challenge and the one that gave me the least chances [of first team football], but these are the challenges I like and the ones I’ve worked for all my life."
The forward has also admitted that he dreamed of being at Real Madrid, and is determined to show that he belongs at the club.
“I dreamed of being here. I have the talent and I’ll work hard to show I belong at such a great institution.
“I hope some positive things happen, both to the club and myself.”
Struggles at United
Manchester United have struggled without Hernandez at Old Trafford, with the club having made a disastrous start to the Premier League season. Despite the array of attacking talent on show at the Theatre of Dreams, United are already 13 points behind table-toppers Chelsea, having won just three of their opening 10 league fixtures.
Hernandez, meanwhile, could feature against Manchester United's Premier League rivals Liverpool in the Champions League tonight after a steady start to his Bernabeu career.
