This week on Monday Night Raw, Randy Orton was left bloodied and bruised as Seth Rollins hit two vicious Curb Stomps on The Viper.

For months now tensions have been growing between the pair ever since Seth Rollins caused issues which would come back to haunt The Authority, only for Kane and Orton to clean up the mess made by Mr. Money in the Bank.

As expected, enough was enough for Orton and he was done playing second fiddle to the future of the WWE; defying The Authority. Rollins took a bold step a week before Hell in a Cell, hitting a Curb Stomp on Orton before Orton came back the following week to hit Rollins with an RKO.

This week on Raw, things took a turn for the worse for The Viper, after finally getting Seth Rollins inside the ring, the end result was Seth Rollins hitting two Curb Stomps on Orton, one on the announcer’s table and one on the steel steps.

This was after Randy Orton attacked Triple H inside the ring, and now WWE.com have posted an update on Orton’s condition – effectively writing him out of WWE television.

Randy Orton has now been deemed injured and this means he won’t be appearing on WWE programming for the next few weeks. This ‘injury’ angle also means Randy Orton will miss the upcoming WWE European tour, where next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw emanates from the Liverpool Echo Arena in Liverpool.

WWE.com have claimed that as a result of the two Curb Stomps, he suffered a concussion and he was legitimately busted open in the segment; but that isn’t a major worry.

The reason the WWE have gone ahead with the injury angle is because Orton has been cast in the WWE studios film ‘The Condemned II’. Because of the shooting, Orton will not be on television, the upcoming tour or on any house shows either.

There have been numerous reports mentioning his return to WWE television, many expect Orton to return at the Survivor Series pay-per-view and either align himself with Team Cena, or simply cost Team Authority the win as an outside interference.

Whenever he returns, it is practically confirmed he will be a full babyface. This week on Raw the fans were behind Orton a lot more than in recent weeks so you can expect the reaction for his return to be epic, especially if his return does come at his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri; the City where Survivor Series will take place.

His return is then expected to ignite a feud with Seth Rollins; where Orton will be next in line to try and bring down the Authority as Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose have already failed. So the WWE fans are set to be treated to some great matches between Orton and Seth Rollins in the coming months.
