The New England Patriots welcomed Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos to Foxborough on Sunday and the home team were predicted underdogs for only the 4th time in 10 years.
It became clearly evident early into Sunday's matchup between the two AFC powerhouse teams that one side was particularly overmatched and it was the favoured Broncos, New England and Tom Brady began an onslaught that not many predicted which culminated in a 43-21 win for the Patriots.
Brady threw for 333 passing yards along with four touchdowns on the day, the performance came just off the back of his player of the month award for October after throwing 14 touchdowns to no interceptions in that span, it seems more like 5 years than 5 weeks ago that so-called experts were claiming Tom Terrific was finished after the astonishing loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Since the Pats were drubbed 41-14 by the Chiefs on Monday night football, Brady and the team have been rolling, not only has the offence exploded on a weekly basis but every aspect from defence to special teams have played tremendously
Despite injuries to key positions, the Patriots juggernaut is in full flow and it is mainly down to the inspired play of their quarterback, number 12, Tom Brady.

Brady the greatest teammate
Not only is Brady a great quarterback and leader but he is an astounding teammate, players who have lined up beside him have raved about him for years due to the way he conducts himself as part of the team.
The down-to-earth quarterback once again showed his unrivalled ability at being a great teammate after watching one of his receivers bring home a punt for a touchdown.
Julian Edelman raced home an 84-yard punt return for a touchdown against the Denver Broncos and one of the first players to congratulate him on the score was his quarterback.
Video surfaced from YouTube of Brady mic'ed up, screaming at the top of his lungs whilst motoring across the turf to celebrate with the wide receiver.
The camera also caught a moment shared between the pair as they conversed on the sideline afterwards:
Greatest punt returner in NFL history,” Brady said.
Edelman asked “Were you in the end zone on that punt return?”
“Yeah, Had to go see my guy.” Brady responded.
Fist bump ensued.
