Hulk Hogan in training for potential WrestleMania match

In WWE, a return made by a legend is always a good thing and when one of the biggest names in the business, Hulk Hogan, has his music hit, the crowd know they have something to be excited about.

This is why Hogan's recent talk of an in-ring return is so exciting. It is common knowledge that WWE has been heavily criticised of late for the amount of focus it has on certain Superstars, so an appearance from someone like this would surely have a good impact.

WrestleMania return

The Hulkster told Turnbuckle Weekly that he has been carrying out training for one last match, which he along with much of the WWE Universe will hope comes at WrestleMania 31 which is to take place at the end of March next year in California.

Those hoping for Hogan's final face-off in the ring to be against a fellow professional wrestling legend in Sting, may well however be disappointed.

Hogan explained: "I don't think the match would be Sting and Hogan. Sting has been talking about the Undertaker. I've got a split decision, I think either the Undertaker or John Cena would be a great match for Sting. I really have a gut feeling that we're going to see some Stinger Splashes at WrestleMania 31. That's my opinion."

Sting's situation

Talk of a potential match for Sting against John Cena has been prominent for a while now. The possibility of a Sting vs Undertaker match up though is a dream match for so many WWE Superstars and fans.

Given the fact Sting is now 55, there is an unquestionable chance that he may well not make an in-ring return at all. Though Sting himself knows more than anyone the hype surrounding the possibility of the WWE Universe seeing him and The Undertaker in the ring, both the wrestlers' physical abilities will ultimately determine whether we will see this huge encounter, whether it be at WrestleMania 31 or not.

Either way, there is no denying that WWE hasn't been at its best recently. The WWE Network hasn't exactly succeeded as the company would have hoped for and with a series of injuries to several big names, fans have been more than disappointed with what they have been seeing.
