David Moyes has been appointed Real Sociedad's new head coach, signing an 18 month contract until the summer of 2016.

The former Manchester United boss returns to football management six-and-a-half months after losing his job at Old Trafford, and will be tasked with steering the Spanish club to La Liga safety.
