Mick Foley would accept offer to be WWE General Manager again

It's difficult to deny that Mick Foley has had a roller-coaster relationship with WWE over the past year.

Having originally criticised the industry for its handling of Daniel Bryan at the Royal Rumble, Foley then praised WWE for what happened with him at WrestleMania XXX.

In addition, Foley also turned to praising a number of current WWE Superstars such as Goldust, as well as making an appearance on Monday Night Raw in order to promote Seth Rollins' match with Dean Ambrose at Hell in a Cell.

Turning point

It was this appearance on Monday Night Raw in October which gave Foley the focus he needed for a potential WWE return of a more permanent kind.

With this in mind, The Hardcore Legend has turned to his Facebook page to air his views to his supporters about the possibility of a WWE return, should the company offer it to him.

He explained: "When asked a few months ago on social media how I would feel about another run as a WWE General Manager, I said. "I don't think I will be asked, and would turn down the offer if I was.

Well, after my appearance on WWE Monday Night Raw a few weeks ago, I've kind of changed my tune. That appearance energized me, and made me feel like I just might have something to offer #WWE on a more regular basis.

I think there is a chance I'll be asked about becoming GM within the next year - and if asked... I think I'd do it."

Realistic possibility

Foley's comments about this idea surely mean that there has been some form of discussion between him and WWE about a long term deal.

It is common knowledge that WWE is not currently in the state it would hope to be in, meaning appearances by legends such as Foley would surely be welcomed with open arms.

Even if Foley's return is not imminent, it would be strange for him to go back on his word if nothing was to come of it. This as well as the way he has spoken about that Monday Night Raw appearance last month surely means we will be seeing more of him over the next year.

What are your thoughts WWE fans; would a Foley return be best for business?
