England cricketer Steve Finn has dropped a hint that a reality TV appearance on the hit ITV show I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here could be on the cards next year.

Talking to exclusively to GiveMeSport, the Middlesex bowler, who was answering questions from fans on Facebook, insisted that he'd be up for the challenge of a fortnight in the jungle despite potentially struggling with a a lack of food.

Finn said: "I don't really fancy myself eating spiders legs or a kangaroos testicles in the jungle, I'm not sure what I'd do.

"I reckon that they (the celebs) get snuck Mars bars on the side, they must do! If you knew there was a bloke in the bushes with a packed lunch, you'd be buttering him up.

"A few tickets at Lord's for a Mars bar, perfect."

His county teammate, Eoin Morgan, however completely disregard a cameo role in reality TV. The Irishman said that he 'wouldn't have it in him.'

Finn would back himself on Strictly

Being quizzed by Morgan, the big 6ft 7in bowler said he'd have a shot at the Strictly Come Dancing title if he got some drinks down him before the show.

"I'm not overly coordinated on the dance floor, but I do back myself, especially when I've had a few drinks but still it's arms and legs everywhere."

Preparations are underway

Finn's TV aspirations will have to take a back seat for now though, as England look to prepare for the World Cup with the tour of Sri Lanka.

With both Stuart Broad and James Anderson, arguably England's two best bowlers targeting a return to form Finn will need to bring his A-Game to the sub-continent if he is to cement his place in Alastair Cook's side.
