Football News

It has been revealed that WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar is set to appear in another Monday Night Raw event at the start of next year.

Brock Lesnar has taken the WWE by storm this year but has not been seen in a WWE ring as much as fans would have liked in the past few months.

But today it has been guaranteed that Lesnar will be present at the January 12th edition of Raw, which is set to be taped at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Great news for Lesnar fans

"The official website of the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, is advertising WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar for the Jan. 12, 2015 Raw," NoDQ revealed on Monday.

The news will come as a great surprise for Lesnar fans who have been well and truly shortchanged by their champion over the past few months.

Promising start to the year

Lesnar started this year with a bang when he ended The Undertaker's WrestleMania streak in April.

Then fast forward to the summer, and Brock Lesnar won the WWE title in the most brutal fashion by completely destroying John Cena at SummerSlam.

But since then we have barely seen anything from Lesnar. There has been the odd major appearance here and there from the powerful superstar, but overall, WWE fans have been left disappointed by the lack of presence from Lesnar.

Trouble ahead?

Some of this can be put down to Lesnar's decision to stall on a new WWE contract, but now fans worried about the future of Lesnar will at least be safe in the knowledge that this latest addition to his upcoming WWE schedule now makes for a Brock feast over Christmas and New Year.

"Lesnar is also advertised for the following Raw tapings: Dec. 8, 2014 - Greenville, South Carolina; Dec. 29, 2014 - Washington, D.C; Jan. 19, 2015 - Dallas, Texas," NoDQ added.

Brock Lesnar fans should enjoy it while they can.
