Survivor Series predictions and analysis

The second longest running pay-per-view in WWE history is merely days away and now all the official matches have been announced, here are the predictions for Sunday's event.

Bray Wyatt v Dean Ambrose

For me this feud has hardly even begun, Bray wants to bring Dean's childhood and parents into it and I think this is about to get very personal, very fast. Bray didn't look very good in his feud against Chris Jericho so WWE need to get this right this time and whilst Ambrose looked rather weak in the Seth Rollins feud I think both men really need a win here. I don't think it will hinder either regardless of the outcome so I think Dean Ambrose will pick up the win.

Fellow Lead WWE Writer Raza Kazi: This feud doesn't look like it will be ending at Survivor Series and it hasn't really picked up yet either but let's wait and see what the writers have in store for us in the next month or so.

I highly doubt they will go with anything other than a clean finish and right now both men need a win. Ambrose is losing credibility after a high-profile feud with Seth Rollins whilst Bray Wyatt also needs to come back stronger after an underwhelming feud with Chris Jericho. If the feud does go on longer which I believe it will, I expect Bray Wyatt to walk out victorious the first time round.

Gold and Stardust v Los Matadores v The Usos v The Miz and Damien Mizdow - Fatal four way for the Tag Team Championships

Let's be honest here, Los Matadores are only in this match to make up numbers and The Usos have been slowly losing their stake on the championships in recent weeks because they have missed episodes of Raw and have already lost to Star and Goldust enough times to make you feel it isn't their time again.

This match is really between The Miz and Mizdow and Gold and Stardust, whilst many think The Miz will cost his team the win and then he and Sandow will fall out over it, I think Damien Mizdow will win it for his team and the two will become the new tag team champions and Mizdow will get a bigger crowd reaction than he is doing now.

Raza: I think we can rule out Los Matadores already because they haven't really looked like a big threat. For me, The Usos won't be re-capturing the title just yet so I highly doubt they will win this match either. It comes down to The Miz and Damien Mizdow who will try to dethrone the champions.

Gold and Stardust haven't been the champions many expected them to be and The Miz and Damien Mizdow have been showing cracks in their unusual relationship, but I think capturing the gold could solve their problems for now. I think if they stay together until at least the New Year they could potentially become champions but I'll stick with the safer bet and say Gold and Stardust will retain their championship.

AJ Lee v Nikki Bella - Divas Championship

As much as it pains me to say it, it looks like Nikki will be walking out of this one with the title. She has shown a lot of improvement since her storyline with Brie started at Summerslam as well as improving in the ring and you have to feel the end game here is for the Bellas to fight over the divas title.

Add this to the rumours that AJ could be leaving and you have to think Nikki will be taking the belt. It does look like it will be a decent showing from both of the girls and it will be good to see AJ work with someone other than Paige. But Nikki Bella will win this one.

Raza: You can tell that sooner or later Nikki Bella will become the Divas Champion and although she's failed before, Survivor Series could be her best chance yet. There have been rumours that AJ Lee could finish up with the WWE after the event which sounds like Nikki Bella could become the champion for that reason.

Even if AJ Lee doesn't leave now I think it is Nikki Bella's time, she has her sister Brie in her corner who will play a big part and it's clear the sisters will clash again with the gold on the line, I expect Nikki Bella to capture the Divas Championship.

Alicia Fox, Emma, Naomi, Natalya v Cameron, Paige, Summer Rae and Layla - Traditional Survivor Series tag match

This match was a late addition this week and it's refreshing to see some spotlight on the divas who aren't in the championship match. That being said, it's hard to pick a winner here, Paige is still trying to look strong but has an ongoing rivalry with Fox, whilst most of the divas involved are just making up numbers. For me it has to be Team Fox.

Raza: On paper if you had to choose which team you would compete for it would be a no-brainer. Natalya's team is the more talented inside the ring whilst Paige is the biggest threat for her team and I feel she alone won't be able to give her team the win, I expect Alicia Fox to guide her team to victory.

Team Cena vs Team Authority - John Cena, Ryback, Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan and The Big Show v Seth Rollins, Kane, Rusev, Luke Harper and Mark Henry

The headlining main event, with the two stipulations that see The Authority lose power if they lose and Team Cena lose their jobs if they lose. The easiest option would be for The Authority to lose so that Cena doesn't have to get fired. But I actually think The Authority are going to win this.

Randy could be a big player, but I don't think he will return. I think The Authority will win by being devious like they usually are and Cena and his team will be fired. But only for a week or so before they are brought back by Vince McMahon and the power struggle between the boss and his daughter will begin. Authority to win.

Raza: A blockbuster main event, a traditional Survivor Series elimination tag team match with the stakes set higher than ever. It looks as if the WWE want to take Triple H and Stephanie McMahon off screen as soon as possible so it won't be as easy as many are making it out to be.

If Team Authority lose then they are out of power, if Team Cena lose then all of their members are fired; there is also the potential return of Randy Orton who could cost Team Authority the win whilst there is a general feeling in the air that somebody from Team Cena - most likely Dolph Ziggler - could turn heel. Members of Team Cena can't get fired, so for that reason I believe Team Cena will defeat Team Authority and take them out of power; where we will then see superstars right all the wrongs which have occurred courtesy of The Authority.

Survivor Series is live on Sunday Night from 1am on Sky Sports Box Office.
