Nick Young tries to take all the credit for Lakers wins

It's safe to say that Nick Young is one of the more whimsical players in the NBA right now.

The Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard/small forward is very much a love hate kind of player. When he's good it's awesome and fun and when it's bad or he goes too far it can be very bad. Just take the time he celebrated a three pointer that missed.

And right now Young is in the very middle of his classic ego modes. The type that Lakers fans can't get enough and those of other teams or the casual observer just despise.

"Swag" Power?

Since Young has come back from a thumb injury that kept him out since the start of the season, the Lakers are unbeaten.

Kobe, Young and co, have won two games in a row against the Hawks and Rockets. Young has admittedly played well in those games but he has taken it way too far by claiming the win was all down to him and his "swag."

“It’s all about my swag," Young said after the win. "That’s a part of my repertoire. I’m talking about how I just walk off. I leave a presence when I walk off. I’m like Michael Jackson, Prince, all them other guys.”

Big Headed

Are the Lakers better with Nick Young in the team? Yes. Do the Lakers benefit from having his presence just in the locker room and on the floor? Undoubtedly. Am i being a complete grump? Probably, but there is just something rather irking about Young and his 'Swaggy P' persona.

Young has had 16 and 17 points in the games he's played since coming back, being only the Lakers third best scorer in both while shooting below .500 aggregately.

Yes, the Lakers have won two in a row. Yes, It has coincided with Young's return. But no, Young isn't a huge cause and his wild claims are just embarrassing.
