Week 12 of the NFL is coming down upon us with all the certainty of heavy snow fall in Buffalo so it's time to preview the games and pick some winners.
Kansas City Chiefs @ Oakland Raiders - CHIEFS WIN
The future looks fairly bright for the Raiders but the present is a deep black hole that not even Interstellar's Matthew Mcconaughey could traverse. Andy Reid will once again find a way to get Jamaal Charles into space and the NFL's best running back will once again run for lots of yards.
Cleveland Browns @ Atlanta Falcons - FALCONS WIN
The Falcons are a different animal at home compared to on the road. Granted that animal may be a particularly yappy Chihuahua rather than a particularly energetic fly but it is still an improvement.
At home with the opportunity to take charge of the NFC South somehow on the line Matt Ryan and Julio Jones will find some form and lead the Falcon to a win.

New York Jets @ Buffalo Bills - JETS WIN
With the heavy, heavy snowfall in Western New York at the moment the chances are that the game doesn't go ahead (and it certainly won't go ahead in Buffalo itself after today's confirmation). If it does though I'm backing the Jets to win simply because the Bills haven't been able to prepare as they would want to.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Chicago Bears - BEARS WIN
Tampa Bay are a truly wretched team. Wide receiver Mike Evans might be giving the franchise some hope for the future but the rookie is not going to turn around the Buccaneers' season all on his own.
Chicago meanwhile showed some fight last week at home to division rivals Minnesota. At home again with Marshall and Jeffrey's showing some form the Bears should have more than enough to see of the visitors
Cincinnati Bengals @ Houston Texans - BENGALS WIN
Andy Dalton and the Bengals playing and losing one playoff game a season is by now a time honored tradition. The Bengals know this and led by a revitalized A.J. Green they will edge there way to win narrow win over the Texans.
Detroit Lions @ New England Patriots - PATRIOTS WIN
Nobody goes to Foxboro and wins. Not the Bears, not the Broncos and not the Lions. The Patriots secondary will restrict the effectiveness of the Johnson and Tate whilst the Patriots offense will execute whatever genius gameplan Belichick has crafted to stop Detroit. This one will be another blowout as New England go marching on to the number one seed in the AFC playoffs.
Green Bay Packers @ Minnesota Vikings - PACKERS WIN
Right now the Packers offense is pretty much unstoppable. Away from home against a Vikings defense that is fairly decent against the pass Green Bay shouldn't put up fifty plus points but the thirty to forty they will point up will be more than enough to bet the Vikings.
Tennessee Titans @ Philadelphia Eagles - EAGLES WIN
After getting destroyed by the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers last week the Eagles will enjoy welcoming the Titans to Philadelphia this week for what should be a comfortable win.
The Titans have nothing special anywhere on their roster and have had one less day than usual to prepare after losing to the Steelers on Monday night. The chances are the Eagles will score touchdowns not only on offense but also on defense and special teams.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Indianapolis Colts - COLTS WIN
After losing to the New England Patriots last week it is back to business as usual for the Colts as they get to beat up on the runt of the NFC South litter, the Jaguars.
The standout star from this game will be Andrew Luck. Bradshaw's injury and the Vikings pick up of Ben Tate ahead of Indianapolis means that Trent Richardson and Daniel Herron form the Colts' less than impressive one two punch in the backfield. In the long run this will cause problems for the Colts but right now they will compensate by leaning more heavily then ever on star QB Luck. It wouldn't be surprising to see the Colts QB rush for a touchdown.
St Louis Rams @ San Diego Chargers - RAMS WIN
You've got to give Philip Rivers respect. Last week against the Raiders he looked like his ribs were giving him excruciating pain but he continued to play anyway. He wasn't very effective but he continued to play.
Playing against the Rams defense then is probably the last thing that the Chargers want. After a rough start the Rams defense has held Peyton Manning to a single touchdown and battered Colin Kaepernick like a pinata. The Rams are going to shut down Rivers and the Chargers offense and pull off a big win.
Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks - SEAHAWKS WIN
The Seahawks are at home in a must win game and they are getting Richard Wagner back on defense. Seattle are going to take care of business and pick up a narrow win.
Miami Dolphins @ Denver Broncos - BRONCOS WIN
This one isn't going to be a blowout. The Miami Dolphins defense is adept at getting after the quarterback and the Broncos offensive line is giving hints as to why the Seahawks were able to annihilate them in last year's Superbowl.
Despite all this though Denver are at home and Peyton Manning is still Peyton Manning, the Broncos will get the win to keep up the Chiefs in the AFC West.
Dallas Cowboys @ New York Giants - COWBOYS WIN
Coming off a bye week we can expect to see the Cowboys offense continue where they left off save for the added benefit that Tony Romo is going to be that much closer to full fitness after apparently making good use of the extra rest.
Furthermore, with DeMarco Murray at running back behind that monster offensive line the Cowboys can be expected to control the time of possession. This will force Eli Manning to take more risks throwing the ball downfield more and when he does this he tends to throw interceptions. The Cowboys will win this one without too much difficulty.
Baltimore Ravens @ New Orleans Saints - RAVENS WIN
Take a deep breath and say it with me the Saints aren't very good. They may still win the NFC South but they won't do so by winning this week. The Ravens are coming off a bye week and are solid throughout their roster.
