Football News

It is a big year so far for Seattle Seahawks Runningback Marshawn Lynch but despite his outspoken nature, he has shown he truly has a heart of gold.

The man known as 'Beast Mode' has a very bad habit of tearing NFL defenses apart but off the field in Seattle, he is an upstanding citizen.

Despite receiving yet another fine off the NFL, Lynch has proven his true characteristics to one of Seattle's citizens.

Lynch has shown a concern for the common man after arriving in a Mercedez van with music blaring at a gas station.

A by standing Seahawks fan recalls being amazed by seeing the NFL superstar hope out of the vehicle and go into the gas station.

He was so amazed in fact, that he dropped arguably the most important thing to him - his wallet.

After picking up his son, the Seahawks fan returned home only to be approached by his neighbour with a crazy story.

His neighbour returned his wallet and revealed that Lynch went from NFL player to good samaritan by driving to his house and trying to return it for him.

"My neighbor said Marshawn, Ricardo Lockette and a cameraman were headed to Marysville Pilchuck and decided to bring it to me on the way there." - From the Seahawks fans Facebook page

Despite politely declining his neighbours request for a picture with the Seattle superstars, Lynch has surely ran his way into this Seahawks fans hearts.

Seahawks hoping for more

This was a very positive story from one of the Seahawks biggest stars from their Super Bowl year in 2013.

Having recently received a fine from the NFL for not talking to the media after the Seahawks 24-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, they will surely be hoping for more stories like this.

The Seahawks are currently 6-4 and struggling to reach the very high levels they established last year when they won it all in February.

Having lost to teams like the St Louis Rams, San Diego Chargers and the Dallas Cowboys, the Seahawks are quite far from impressing the fans this year.

They are chasing the 9-1 Arizona Cardinals in the race for the NFC West divisional championship and the two will face off on Sunday.

Surely desperate for a momentous victory at the weekend, Russell Wilson and the Seahawks will need to pull every trick they know to beat Arizona.
