Eden Hazard has been at his mesmerising best for Chelsea this season, and the tricky winger has proved his skills are not exclusive to the football pitch after showcasing his talent for online gaming thanks to an emphatic victory against three Blues fans in a recent FIFA 15 challenge.

The Belgium international turned up at Stamford Bridge to surprise the lucky trio of randomly selected supporters on Wednesday, playing against them in a multiplayer match on a big screen in front of the substitutes bench.

Hazard did not go easy on his opponents as he defeated them with ruthless efficiency, wining the tie by a convincing 4-2 scoreline, which is proof that the 23-year-old is no stranger to the latest edition of the popular EA Sports game.

Speaking after the competition, the wide-man expressed his delight at being involved, and revealed that playing FIFA 15 is a popular hobby for a number of players in the Chelsea dressing room.

"It was really good fun, and I hope it was a good surprise for them," Hazard was quoted saying by The Express. "It was a good day for me because I won the game! It wasn't easy but 4-2 was a good result for me.

"I don't know who is the best FIFA player at Chelsea but it's not me, that's for sure."

When pushed for an answer on which of his team-mates he'd least like to play against on FIFA 15, Hazard narrowed it down to two players that would be among the top gamers.

"It's probably one of the young guys," he explained. "In France they play it a lot so maybe Loic Remy or Kurt Zouma are the best, but they will both be better than me."

Jose Mourinho is unlikely to be too concerned about which member of his squad boasts the best virtual reality skills, he will be much more focused on the small matter of Chelsea's Premier League title challenge which gets back underway again tomorrow.

The Blues host West Bromwich Albion in west London on Saturday, and the Portuguese tactician will be confident his side can extend their unbeaten start to the 2014/15 campaign with victory over the Baggies this weekend.

With a four-point lead at the top of the table, Mourinho's men are already overwhelming favourites to claim the title next May, with some people even suggesting that they can emulate the Arsenal Invincibles by going the entire season without losing a game.
