The Manchester United winger is wasting little time proving to Old Trafford fans they they're missing out.

Nani has been in sensational form for Sporting since his loan switch from Manchester United, and he was at it again last night with a beautiful strike, this time against Maribor in the Champions League.

In the domestic league, Nani has bagged four goals and provided two assists in just five appearances, and according to is one of the top players in the Portuguese top flight so far.

A Portuguese newspaper recently voted Nani as the player of the season at this point in the campaign, and any Manchester United fans that have been watching the winger in action will have been left impressed.

He fell out of favour under David Moyes after shining briefly while Sir Alex Ferguson was in charge. And the removal of Moyes and appointment of Louis van Gaal did little to improve his first-team chances.

Along with the likes of Tom Cleverley and Alexander Buttner, Nani was a first-team squad player allowed to leave Old Trafford over the summer with van Gaal favouring new recruits.

He brought in the likes of Angel Di Maria which meant Nani's days were numbered, but back at his former club, the Portuguese winger has flourished.
