A little bit of history was made last night in the NBA when Ettore Messina became the first European-born coach to take charge of a team. The Italian, who has been an assistant at the San Antonio Spurs since this summer, stepped in for veteran head coach Gregg Popovich who missed the team’s game against the Indiana Pacers due to a medical issue. Elsewhere in the league there were big wins for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Houston Rockets while the Lakers lost for the 12th time this season. Meanwhile in the NFL it looks like Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles is facing longer on the sidelines than originally expected with reports suggesting the franchise starter may not be back until the playoffs. And finally the Million Dollar Arm launches their latest venture The Million Dollar Bat in Dubai on Wednesday.
