Chelsea predicted XI v Sunderland

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho takes his team to Wearside to face a Sunderland side this Saturday currently positioned in 14th in the Premier League table.

Playing 'perfect' and 'beautiful' football in the words of their own manager, Chelsea come into the match six points clear of second placed Southampton and off the back of a mesmeric 5-0 away win in the Champions League against Schalke in mid-week.

In his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, Mourinho confirmed that Chelsea have no new injury concerns. Young midfielder Nathan Ake is the only absentee for the match, and he faces a few more weeks out.

A full squad means Mourinho has plenty of options this weekend, although he's likely to stick to the tried and tested formula that has produced such fantastic results in recent weeks.

That means Diego Costa will play up front - the Premier League leading goalscorer has been unstoppable, scoring again last weekend against West Brom and he faces a Sunderland defence that shipped eight in one game earlier this season.

His supply line has been just as consistent, so expect to see the likes of Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas and Oscar against the Black Cats.

That's because in his press conference Mourinho said he does not plan to rest any of his stars as he wants to win every competition.

"For us every competition is important so we don't rest players and we try to play with our best team," Mourinho told reporters.

With that in mind, here is GiveMeSport's predicted Chelsea XI to face Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday evening at 17:30.

Courtois, Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Fabregas, Matic, Oscar, Hazard, Willian, Costa
