Football News

CM Punk has dominated the headlines in the wrestling world ever since he appeared on a podcast with good friend and fellow pro wrestler Colt Cabana.

Ryback Slammed

Punk went in on the WWE and detailed exactly why he left the company in the two hour long interview. Punk revealed that one of the actions that really tipped him over the edge was working with current WWE star Ryback who kept injuring him.

Punk said that the injuries were occurring so often that he started to think Ryback was doing it on purpose. Well now 'The Big Guy' has come out and hit back at Punk.

Inaccurate Comments

It isn't on Twitter this time either. He sat down with 107.7 Sports Radio in Oklahoma City to actually speak his thoughts about everything that was said. And he obviously claimed that Punk is lying. We dug up some of the best bits...

"I don't want to harp on this but I will say the comments he made were not accurate about me, definitely," Ryback said. "It's a little disappointing to hear that. He was never like that to my face. To hear the things that he said, especially behind my back to Vince (McMahon), it's very disturbing to me."

"He goes on record saying I broke his ribs on purpose and this and that. That's not true...it never happened...Everyone knows the truth and what he said is not the truth."

"I think he's making excuses and trying to... he wants people to feel sorry for him for leaving. He walked away and left and just man up, he needed time off. We all get beat up, we all work hurt."

So WWE fans what do you think? Are you siding with Punk or Ryback in all this? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below...
