Police have issued an arrest warrant for WWE superstar Heath Slater after he was involved in a shocking incident during the WrestleMania 27 after party.
As reported by wrestlinginc.com, it appears that Slater will now have to explain his actions after accusations were made from Corrine Oliver, who was working as security at the party.
Oliver claimed that the superstar put her in a chokehold and attempted to drag her into an elevator, and ultimately into his hotel room at the Hyatt Regency. In fact, the same report has even revealed that other WWE superstars were in attendance as the controversial incident was taking place.
The woman has also claimed that the attack from Slater - real name Heath Miller - caused damage to the five vertebrae in her back.
Despite reporting the incident to her supervisor the day after the event, it appears that she waited as long as three months to file a police report.
Slater, meanwhile, has quickly denied the accusations, and has insisted that he's not guilty of the act. In fact, the superstar recently took to Twitter to deny the charges and has revealed that his attorney will be handling the matter.
There's no doubt about it, the WWE Universe will certainly be paying close attention to any developments regarding this shocking saga. Slater certainly seems ready to fight the charges and will be desperate to clear his name as he looks to get his wrestling career back on track.
No action against WWE
WWE, meanwhile, have insisted that the charges have been made only against the superstar as the organization's lawyer Jerry McDevitt released a statement insisting that there will be no action against the company.
