‘Tis the season to play FIFA – in the eyes of Eden Hazard and Lionel Messi anyway as the pair battle it out on the Xbox One in the latest EA Sports Christmas TV advert for FIFA 15.

Cheered on by snowmen acting as cup cake decorations and gingerbread men, the Barcelona star Messi is left frustrated as he went 1-0 down at the hands of a rare Eden Hazard header.

However, the Argentine’s valiant support didn’t have to wait long to celebrate a goal of their own, as he exquisitely curled the ball past Thibaut Courtois in the Chelsea net moments after hitting the post to level the score at 1-1.

Perfect match

Very few players in the world would be able to match the four time FIFA Ballon d’Or winner in a one on one contest, but the Chelsea man done just that as the game ended in a 1-1 stalemate.

The EA Sports FIFA poster boys Hazard and Messi, certainly put in an Oscar worthy performance in the advert. The commercial that features two of the best young players in the world is surely good enough to get people out and purchasing the game – if they haven’t already.
