CM Punk's acrimonious exit from WWE has been arguably the biggest talking point in wrestling this year.

Punk left WWE the day after Royal Rumble back in January and was subsequently fired on his wedding shortly after.

Though WWE Chairman Vince McMahon did the honors of firing Punk, McMahon never really wanted to get rid of him and has even left the door open for the former champion.

Punk set for UFC?

But Punk says he will never return to WWE, and even worse, there are growing rumors that are linking him to a stint in UFC when he's legally allowed to join one of WWE's rival.

UFC, one of WWE's main rivals, certainly enjoys causing havoc for McMahon, and its President Dana White opened up this week on whether or not he would like to have Punk on board.

There are obvious differences between WWE and UFC, and in the real world, Punk would find it hard to take the punishment.

Brock Lesnar has managed to dominate in both WWE and UFC, but he's a completely different beast altogether.
