NFL star breaks back in head on car crash

Owen Coyle has been named the new manager of MLS side Houston Dynamo. Coyle had success in England by taking Burnley to the Premier League in 2009. He has since managed Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic and had been without a club for over a year before joining the Dynamo. Staying in soccer, former Real Madrid striker Raul was unveiled by the New York Cosmos yesterday. The 37-year old will play for the Cosmos in 2015 and apparently has a deal in place to run the sides Academy once he retires. Over to the NFL, where Cam Newton was involved in a car crash yesterday. The Carolina Panthers star had to be rushed to hospital after flipping his truck and was diagnosed with two fractures in his back. And finally, NBA legend Tracy McGrady says he wants another shot in the league. T-Mac retired in 2013 and had a failed stint in minor league baseball this year, but the 35-year old claims he's good to go.
