Celtics' Rajon Rondo loses temper, elbows Lance Stephenson in the face

Football News

Boston Celtics are not having the best of times right now. Poor performances, questions of tanking and reported trade offers have put a cloud over the once storied franchise.

One of the star players that the Celtics are said to be ready to trade away before the end of the season is Rajon Rondo, with the point guard certainly having a tough time at the moment.

Rondo was benched for rookie Marcus Smart earlier this week, and things got even worse for him on Wednesday night when he lashed out at Lance Stephenson during the Celtics' game against the Charlotte Hornets.

The victim of Rondo's brutal assault was the ever-annoying Lance Stephenson as Rondo landed an equally brutal and sinister elbow on the face of Stephenson.
