MLB star Matt Kemp on the verge of blockbuster trade with San Diego

We begin with baseball where the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers are said to be on the verge of a blockbuster trade involving outfielder Matt Kemp. The major deal would see Kemp, and the $107 million left on his contract, head to San Diego in exchange for catcher Yasmani Grandal as well as two young pitchers. Meanwhile in the NFL, after months of criticism for his handling of domestic violence cases involving players, Commissioner Roger Goodell has outlined a new personal conduct policy that goes into effect this week. Across to the NBA and things continue to go from bad to worse for the New York Knicks. After rumors of in fighting off the court the troubled franchise continue to struggle on it after losing their 10th straight game last night. And finally in college football Wisconsin running back, and Heisman Trophy finalist, Melvin Gordon has confirmed plans to enter the 2015 NFL Draft.
