Eden Hazard picks three Arsenal legends in best XI

Chelsea ace Eden Hazard has picked his all-time Legends XI for FIFA 15 - and has included no less than three Arsenal heroes.

Hazard picked his team as part of a promotion which gives gamers who take on the winger's team the chance to win a host of prizes, and there will be plenty who are surprised by his choices.

The Belgian international has leant heavily on the France team which won the 1998 World Cup, with Laurent Blanc and Marcel Desailly selected at the back. From there on the French influence continues and that's where some of Arsenal's best players step in.

Hazard names Patrick Vieira as his midfield enforcer, while Robert Pires lines up on the wing. Another star of the 1998 World Cup and an Arsenal favourite, Dennis Bergkamp, also makes the cut.

"Patrick Vieira has won everything," says the Chelsea man. "When I was young I was a fan of France so watched him play often.

He continued: "I picked Robert Pires because I've always been a fan of the French team. He didn't run fast, but with his passing and dribbling he always managed to make the difference."

No love for Chelsea

His Chelsea team-mates may be a little miffed at having not been included in the team which contains so many Arsenal fan favourites. Manchester United are represented in goal through Peter Schmeichel, while Blanc also had a spell at Old Trafford.

Also in the team are Roberto Carlos and Fabio Cannavaro at full-back, while Pavel Neved and Luis Figo, while Patrick Kluivert is picked to partner Bergkamp in attack.

Hazard, who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid of late, was at his imperious best at the weekend as Chelsea claimed a 2-0 win against Hull that kept them at the top of the Premier League table.

The former Lille man opened the scoring in the first half before laying on an assist for Diego Costa to seal all three points.
