The January transfer window is almost upon us so it’s no surprise to see the papers packed with rumours this morning. The Daily Star are carrying a big story about a potential swoop from Bayern Munich for Raheem Sterling. The German giants have identified Sterling as an alternative should they fail to land Marco Reus who is of course a target for Manchester United and Real Madrid. Staying with the transfer market, the agent of Martin Montoya has confirmed his client will move in January. The Barcelona defender has been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool, and has a £16 million buy-out clause. The world of football are paying tribute to Thierry Henry after the Frenchman announced his decision to retire from the game. Cesc Fabregas, Mesut Ozil, and Aaron Ramsey are just a few to have praised the 37-year-old, who enjoyed a glittering career playing for the likes of Arsenal, Barcelona and New York Red Bulls.
