Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed his supermodel girlfriend Irina Shayk has an unhealthy infatuation with the Real Madrid star's pants.

CR7 boxers go missing all the time in the Ronaldo household, and the Portugal captain is pointing the finger squarely at his better half.

In an interview with fashion magazine Vogue as reported by the Daily Mail, Ronaldo revealed Irina is a big fan of his brand name underwear after he was asked which item in his wardrobe does his girlfriend most often steal.

"She steals my boxers all the time," Ronaldo said. "She wasn't in the house and I opened her wardrobe and there were many CR7 boxers. It is funny."

Ronaldo brought out his own range of boxers back in October 2013, how many pairs he has left is anybody's guess.

The Real Madrid star was in action for the reigning Champions League winners on Tuesday, although he failed to find the net against Mexican side Cruz Azul at the Club World Cup.

Club World Cup

Real Madrid, the heavy favourites to win the tournament, beat Cruz Azul 4-0 and will face Argentinian opponents San Lorenzo in the final.

Gareth Bale, Isco, Karim Benzema and Sergio Ramos were the goalscorers for the Spanish giants. It was a good week for Ronaldo personally, as the Portugal international scooped the BBC overseas Sports Personality of the Year award.

His teammate Gareth Bale was nominated in the main award section, but did not win. F1 champion Lewis Hamilton won the award.
