WWE chiefs have put together plans for a special 'Raw reunion' show in the final edition before the 2015 Royal Rumble, which will feature a special guest appearance from the three founding members of the famous New World Order faction.

Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan have all been booked to feature on the January 19th edition of Raw at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, while the Heartbreak Kid himself Shawn Michaels will also make a rare return to WWE programming.

All four legends have been drafted in to give the final pre-Royal Rumble show a special feel, with the main event for the card also already confirmed as record-breaking 30-man Lumberjack Match between John Cena and Seth Rollins.

Return should be 'too sweet'

Hogan, Nash and Hall collectively helped mastermind one of the most famous storylines in the history of professional wrestling, with the Hulkster turning heel in a genuinely shocking turn of events that helped catapult WCW to the top of the industry.

The New World Order were a revolutionary organisation that spawned Hollywood Hulk Hogan and took The Outsiders along for the ride. Nash and Hall also deserve huge praise for their part in that rollercoaster ride, which continued with a brief but brilliant return to the WWE in the early 2000's.

Moves ties in with planning big announcement

WWE chiefs have decided to bring out the big guns for their Dallas return because they're planning to announce the venue for Wrestlemania 32 around that time, with the Wrestling Observer reporting that the 2016 showpiece to be held at Cowboys Stadium.

Michaels and the NWO's key men are already being advertised as confirmed stars for that important edition of Raw by the American Airlines Arena's official website, in an extra push to get tickets sold for both that show and the rumble.

Even if Hogan appears at the show in his more famous yellow and red it should be fun to see the NWO back together on live television, a throwback to a time when WCW was at its peak and literally anything seemed possible every Monday night.
