Football News

Chelsea midfielder Oscar has caused something of a storm on Twitter after a controversial photo of himself being kissed on either cheek by his wife and his sister emerged.

The Brazil international’s sister, Gabriele, posted the photo on Instagram - which shows Oscar standing there at his home in London with a big grin on his face while receiving pecks on the cheek from both his sibling and childhood sweetheart wife Ludmila.

But what sent Twitter into meltdown is the fact Oscar has one hand on his wife’s bum in the photo - and the other on his sister’s.

Twitter almost breaks

Needless to say Twitter erupted, with a host of users throwing all sorts of accusations at the 23-year-old South American.

It’s safe to assume that people who spend a little too much time on the internet are jumping to irrational conclusions in this instance, but Oscar can probably expect to receive a bit of stick when he walks out at the Britannia Stadium to face Stoke City on Monday evening.

Oscar's development under Mourinho

The attacking midfielder has been excellent for Chelsea this season, and has chipped in with four goals in his 19 appearances.

Even more impressive this season has been Oscar’s work ethic. Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has helped develop the defensive side of the Brazilian’s game this season, and subsequently he’s now a much more well-rounded and effective midfielder.
