Natalya is a former Divas Champion and currently one of the stars of WWE's hit reality show Total Divas, but it seems she is now looking for another championship all together.
The third generation diva was part of a controversial match with Charlotte on Raw a few weeks ago, which saw her get the pin after reversing the figure four leg lock into a roll up.
This was merely days before Charlotte successfully defended her NXT Women's Championship at NXT:Takeover rEvolution and many thought this was an attempt by Vince McMahon to bury Charlotte.
Making the case
Natalya doesn't believe this, in a recent interview with the Mirror, she talked about time restraints and pressure.
"We don’t control a lot of things in WWE, it’s live TV, you can’t control how long you’re going to get. Sometimes you’re going to get 20 minutes and sometimes you’re going to get 20 seconds, you just have to maximise those minutes and do the best you can," she explained.

"I’m happy we got a couple of minutes to showcase something - it’s better than nothing. Would I loved to have had the same kind of match we had at Takeover on Raw? Yes. But I don’t control that. It was a way for Takeover to be promoted a little bit. They’d done that with the pay per view prior to this."
Natalya hasn't been part of the Divas Championship picture since the Divas Battle Royal at Wrestlemania and instead has turned her attention to the NXT Women's title that she is hoping she can prise from Charlotte's grip.
"In a perfect world, I’d take 25 minutes with Charlotte, but it turned out to be two and guess what? Because I beat Charlotte in two minutes, it’s only meaningful we’d have a rematch - and we better have a rematch because I plan on evening out the odds and beating her and taking her championship from her!"
Charlotte is set to be called up to the main roster soon, but to have her drop the Women's championship to Nattie would be foolish on WWE's behalf. Charlotte and Natalya need to have a main card feud and show that their match from Takeover wasn't a fluke.
The two next generation divas could change the divas division for the better in 2015 and WWE have everything they need in the palm of their hands.
