Louis van Gaal wants to keep Adnan Januzaj

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has dismissed speculation that Adnan Januzaj could leave the club on loan in the January transfer window. 

The youngster, who made his breakthrough into the Red Devils first team under David Moyes last season, has struggled for opportunities under the new regime at Old Trafford this term.

And, of late, it's been suggested that the Belgian international could move to French moneybags Paris Saint-Germain on loan, however it now appears that Van Gaal wants to keep him in England's elite division. 

When asked whether the player needs to gain experience by leaving the club on a short term deal, the Dutch coach insisted that Januzaj's a player of United and isn't going anywhere. 

There's no doubt about it, the majority of Manchester United fans will be pleased by Van Gaal's comments as Januzaj looks set to be a huge star over the coming years. 

Despite the player's struggled at times this season, Red Devils fans will be hoping to see him feature on a more regular basis over the coming months. 

Festive period 

And, with United set for two fixtures in three days, the wing wizard looks set to play a key role over the festive period. 

Januzaj, who took the club's famous No.11 shirt this past summer, will certainly be hoping to impress as he looks to make an impression before the end of the campaign.
