Arsenal look set to be relieved of the services of Lukas Podolski in the coming days, as talks have been held with Inter Milan regarding his exit on loan. The German international has struggled for game-time this year despite the injury problems Arsene Wenger has had to deal with, and as such finds himself heavily linked with a move away. According to reports it’s now been virtually agreed that the San Siro will become his new home until at least the end of this season, with Inter paying around £1.5 million in loan fees. It’s believed the Italian giants will have the option to make the move a permanent one prior to the start of the next campaign. In other transfer news the Gunners are said to be close to getting their hands on William Carvalho, as Wenger has agreed to pay Sporting Lisbon’s £20 million asking price. Arsenal are looking for a midfield enforcer, and it’s said they’ll look to make Carvalho their man with a bid when the transfer window re-opens.
