RAW tonight was a show filled with sentiment as several WWE superstars took time to stop what they were doing and speak one on one with the WWE Universe.

Whilst both Ryback and Cesaro stopped for a moment and decided to address the fans, there was one man whose words had the most effect.

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan had been advertised all night that he had an announcement for the WWE Universe.

He had previously tweeted an ominous message to the members of the Yes movement and everyone was fearing the worst.

"Everyone comes to a crossroads in their life and I’ve come to mine. I look forward to telling you all about it tonight" - Bryan's cryptic tweet

When Bryan came down to the ring, we knew we were about to see a moment that could shape the WWE landscape in 2015.

Bryan began to speak about his year in 2014 and naturally mentioned his biggest achievement back at WrestleMania XXX.

Referring to the night when Bryan defeated Triple H, Batista and Randy Orton in one night to overcome the Authority and win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Bryan mentioned the injury that has kept him out for the majority of the year and with tears in his eyes he asked "Is my career over?"

With the WWE Universe chanting 'NO' Bryan agreed and declared very loudly that his career is not over!

Even more than that, Bryan officially confirmed that not only is his career not over, but he will compete in the 2015 Royal Rumble.

Re-doing history?

Batista was the winner of the 2014 Royal Rumble but many people felt that Bryan should have been the one to take that crown.

His path to the main event at WrestleMania was far more complicated but no less special as the WWE Universe went along with him on a roller coaster ride.

However the biggest rumours surrounding the 2015 Royal Rumble have been solely focused upon Roman Reigns.

For months now, people have expected Reigns to be the last man standing at the big event in January.

The question now becomes, what does Bryan's inclusion do to the outcome of the annual event and who will be going to the biggest match of the year at WrestleMania XXXI.
