Western Sydney Wanderers did not give the fans what they wanted in their 0-0 draw against the Central Coast Mariners - and they certainly let the players know about it.
One supporter in particular took exception to the result, and subsequently attempted to climb over the hoardings and get on the pitch to confront one of his own players, Shannon Cole.
It's fair to say he looks dissatisfied with what he's just seen, as the Wanderers made it over 400 minutes without a goal. They have just four points so far this season, and have failed to register a win.
The decline of Tony Popovic's side has been drastic, baring in mind that they are the reigning Club Champions of Asia. And, with that in mind, it's not a great surprise that they are unhappy with the situation.
However, attempting to climb out of the stands to confront a player on the pitch is simply unacceptable, and the Wanderers should consider banning the individual from future matches.
Player safety is paramount, and that appeared to be in jeopardy here before a couple of other fans and a security guard took matters into their own hands.
