Football News

It's that time of the season where we take a trip down memory lane, so today we look back at some of the best goals scored on FIFA 15 last year.

EA Sports previously revealed the top 20 goal-scorers in Ultimate Team, which you can read about here, and now we can celebrate the New Year with some unbelievable strikes from the FIFA community.

We've all scored great FIFA goals, but I can't remember scoring a goal anywhere near close to these ones, some of which I didn't even know were possible!

From long-range screamers to cheeky rabona chips, there's a whole range of goals to enjoy, and even though EA Sports did boast about the new game's realism during promotion... you can't help but admire some of the strikes that even Pele himself would be proud of!

The benchmark has definitely been set for the FIFA community to improve on this year's entries, and if you think you can score a better goal, you can submit your best efforts here.

From Ultimate Team to Pro Clubs, anything goes so good luck, and maybe you could feature in one of EA Sports' future videos, I'm still trying myself mind you!

You can watch the video (and view the competition) above, and comment on your favourite goal below!

In other news, FIFA 15 ended last year on a high, topping the UK video game charts selling over 2.6 million units since release, as MCV have revealed.

This season's instalment beat the likes of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Grand Theft Auto V to become the best selling game of 2014 in the UK, after four consecutive years as the second-highest seller (from FIFA 11 - FIFA 14).

FIFA 15 was also the only video game to sell over two million units, as you can view below:

1. FIFA 15 – 2,663,296 units sold

2. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare – 1,837,025 units sold

3. Grand Theft Auto V – 1,341,472 units sold

4. Destiny – 937,235 units sold

5. Watch Dogs – 808,799 units sold

Are you surprised FIFA 15 came out on top?
