Karim Benzema is in favour of a potential move to Liverpool as he searches for a new club to feel at home at, and he's already scored more goals at Anfield than any other Liverpool striker this year.

The French striker has been linked with a move to Merseyside ever since it became clear that Mario Balotelli was proving to be of insufficient quality to be a fit replacement for Luis Suarez.

And reports in Spain, as relayed by the Daily Mirror, have suggested that the Real Madrid striker is keen on a move to the Premier League – which makes Liverpool hot favourites for his signature.

Undervalued at the Bernabeu

The 27-year-old has found the net 14 times in 25 appearances in all competitions this year and has become a key player in Madrid’s bid to reclaim the La Liga title.

In spite of his impressive form, Benzema is reportedly losing patience with the constant criticism levelled at him by Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti,as he feels increasingly under appreciated at the Bernabeu.

Karim of the Kop?

And there has been plenty of exit talk surrounding him as he has continues to deal with rumours that he will be auctioned off to bring in bigger names such as Marco Reus and Sergio Aguero.

He would find a good home at Anfield though and would be guaranteed a starting berth on Merseyside. In fact, he has already scored as many goals at Anfield this season as the entire Liverpool striker department combined, after he scored a brace in a 3-0 Real Madrid win in the Champions League.
