Manchester United are set to confirm the signing of Victor Valdes - but that doesn’t mean that David de Gea will leave the cub. Reports today suggest that the Red Devils will open contract talks with the goalkeeper shortly, and add they signed Valdes in order to provide more competition, rather than as a direct replacement. Staying with the transfer market and Man Utd are being linked with a surprise move for Luis Suarez. Reports today suggest that the former Liverpool ace could be on his way back to the Premier League already and that the Red Devils are in the mix. And finally it looks like Robin van Persie could be dropped for this weekend’s game against Southampton. Boss Louis van Gaal is looking to mix things up after the busy Christmas period and will rest the Dutch ace.
