Check out a round-up of all the biggest transfer news stories involving Chelsea today.

It seems as though the Blues are pressing ahead with their plans to try and lure Lionel Messi from Barcelona.

Messi exit possible

The diminutive Argentinian is said to be contemplating his future at the Nou Camp after falling out with boss Luis Enrique having been dropped for the loss against David Moyes' Real Sociedad.

The pair are said to have a strained relationship and with unrest behind the scenes too Chelsea are hoping to pounce. According to the Daily Star, they will offer Messi a huge six-year contract and are also willing to pay his £200 million release clause.

Chelsea could swoop for Suarez

Chelsea are also being linked with a surprise move for Messi's Barcelona team-mate Luis Saurez. The Daily Mail are suggesting that the Uruguayan could be sacrificed less than a year after he made the move to the Nou Camp.

Along with Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are also said to be looking at a swoop for the former Liverpool forward, who cost the Catalan club around £75 million.

Cech could leave in the summer

Petr Cech's future has been the subject of speculation for some time now, but it looks as though he will remain at Stamford Bridge until the end of the season. However according to the Telegraph, Chelsea have decided to let Cech make his own mind up and pick his next club if he wants out.

That means he could conceivably join Arsenal, who are interested and are considering a summer bid for the Czech veteran, while Liverpool have also been linked with a swoop.

Drogba could follow Gerrard to MLS

Didier Drogba could be the latest Premier League star to head across the pond to MLS. The Chelsea forward hasn't had many chances to impress this season, and appears to be third-choice behind Loic Remy.

The 36-year-old is wanted by the Portland Timbers. "Drogba is a unique guy who, despite his age, is uniquely skilled to clean up in MLS," said club owner Merritt Paulson.

"The MLS almost signed him a couple years ago and I know my coach would love him to be a Timber, but I highly doubt it at this point."
