It was confirmed late last year that WWE Superstar Batista would be starring in the latest instalment in the James Bond movie franchise 'Spectre', and now the first images of the giant wrestler on location for the movie have emerged.
On the set
Pictured alongside current incumbent of the James Bond role, British actor Daniel Craig, and Lea Seydoux - the actress set to be the latest 'Bond girl' - the image was snapped atop a mountain in Austria.
You can check out the image itself further down this article...
As you can see, the tranquil isolated surroundings of the ski resort of Sölden are about as far removed as you can get from the intense, loud and crazy atmosphere of Monday Night RAW or SmackDown in which Batista made his name.
WWE situation
What with his increased movie commitments however the wrestler has been seen all too infrequently in the WWE ring in recent times. After spending much of 2014 filming for recent blockbuster 'Guardians of the Galaxy' Batista did return to main event WrestleMania XXX but was soon off our screens again in order to promote his movie - the WWE writing him out of storylines as of June 2.

There had been some WWE fans hoping the Superstar would be making a shock return to the ring at the upcoming Royal Rumble. But with the huge PPV event now just over two weeks away and Batista clearly busy on location with his James Bond commitments it looks highly unlikely that that will prove to be the case come January 25th.
Bond villain
It may be a while before WWE fans can see Bautista taking on the role of Batista his big fan base can at least look forward to him putting his wrestling skills to test against the most famous spy in the world.
Taking on the role of Hinx the franchise has already promised a number of fights between Batista and Bond. Perhaps actor Daniel Craig should bend the ear of Daniel Bryan, the WWE Superstar of course being the man to defeat Batista in 2014's WrestleMania main event.
