In boxing Carl Froch has reiterated his stance that he will retire if Julio Cesar Chavez Jr doesn’t agree to face him in Las Vegas. The British champion has numerous offers, not least from the likes of James DeGale, but is resolute in his stance that it’s Chavez Jr. or nothing as he looks to finish his career in style. Novak Djokovic surprised the world of tennis yesterday by crashing out of the Qatar Open virtue of a loss to Ivo Karlovic. The Serbian took the first set after a close tie-break, but then lost two on the bounce to succumb to a defeat that very much upset the odds.
