Ex-NFL player Rob Konrad suffers hypothermia after falling out of boat

Across to the NFL, and a former player was treated for hypothermia at a Florida hospital on Thursday after he swam nine miles to shore after falling out of his fishing boat.

Former Miami Dolphins running back Rob Konrad is said to have been caught in the water for twelve hours after swimming 290 lengths of an Olympic-sized swimming pool. 

"Konrad, 38, swam the equivalent of 290 lengths of an Olympic-size swimming pool after his 36-foot boat, which was on auto pilot, drifted away from him off the South Florida coast," BBC Sport reported

Olympics, NBA and NHL updates 

Meanwhile, Boston has been announced as the U.S. bid city for the Olympics in 2024, which means the Olympic rings could be flying over Fenway Park during the next decade.

In basketball, and star baller Damian Lillard has labelled Stephen Curry the best point guard in the NBA.

And finally in the NHL, the New York Rangers edged out the LA Kings 4-3 on the road last night.
