Chelsea will be looking to get back to winning ways when they go up against Newcastle at Stamford Bridge today.

The Blues stumbled to a surprise 5-3 defeat against Tottenham in their last league outing which meant that Manchester City were able to pull level at the top of the table.

That means that Jose Mourinho's men have relinquished an eight point, so a win against manager-less Newcastle is a must.

It seems as though the Special One has certainly mixed things up for the game today, with Petr Cech starting in goal over Thibaut Courtois, while Kurt Zouma is handed a start in the defence.

Diego Costa is back up top after being rested for Chelsea's FA Cup win against Watford last week, while Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas and Willian are back behind the Brazilian.

It won't be easy despite the fact that Newcastle lost manager Alan Pardew to Crystal Palace however; the Magpies have won three of their last four meetings, and became the first team to defeat Chelsea this season in December.

However all of their wins came on home soil, and Chelsea haven't lost to Newcaslte at Stamford Bridge since 2012.
