Adnan Januzaj wanted by Aston Villa

Aston Villa have entered the race to sign Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj on a temporary basis, according to the Daily Star.

It has been reported that the Premier League outfit are ready to make a move for the Belgian international in an attempt to bring him to Villa Park for the remainder of the season.

In fact, it appears that the youngster, who enjoyed a wonderful debut season at Old Trafford last season, will speak alongside his representatives with Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal this evening after the club's fixture with Southampton.

Januzaj has struggled to prove his credentials under the new regime this term, and has also been linked with a move to La Liga outfit Real Sociedad.

Moyes reunion?

A move to Sociedad, of course, would see him reunited with ex-boss David Moyes, who handed him his first opportunity at first team level.

For now, though, the wide-man will be hoping to feature for the Red Devils as they play host to the Saints this afternoon, whilst Villa boss Paul Lambert will be hoping to secure the player's signature sooner rather than later as his side go in search of climbing the league table.

There's no doubt about it, Januzaj would prove quite the coup for Villa, but it remains to be seen as to whether United are ready to loan him out to another Premier League club.
