GiveMeSport are pleased to announce an improved user-experience for readers on mobile and tablet with the help of 51Degrees, the device detection and redirection development company.

With a growing global audience of over 300 million fans, as well as athlete-management service for over 150 clients, the importance of optimising the delivery of content was clear.

As the needs of GiveMeSport grew, the decision was made to upgrade from a Lite product to 51Degrees' Microsoft .NET version. The results have been fantastic for all parties involved.

"Differential advertising by screen size as part of our responsive design was essential and the Premium version of 51Degrees enables us to optimise and increase our tablet traffic by 300%, delivering tablet users a better experience that allowed us to target our tablet adverts against these users. This has increased tablet revenue by 40%.”

GiveMeSport’s work with 51Degrees has also helped speed up the mobile-specific and tablet-specific services offered to readers of the website, with high-performance responsive design the key to success.
