Manchester United have announced that they will be staging a UNITED:LIVE fan party in Jakarta, Indonesia on January 31.

The festival style event will consist of a range of activities with the main event being a live screening of United's game against Leicester City at Old Trafford.

The day's activities will also consist of a live showing of "The Greatest Story Ever Told" which is a biopic of the club's illustrious history. There will also be sessions with Manchester United Soccer Schools coaches.

The excitement doesn't end there. Club legends Dennis Irwin and Louis Saha will also be attending the event located in Balai Kartini Kartika Expo. They will be sharing stories of their time at Old Trafford and will be giving pre and post-match analysis of the game.

Irwin made 529 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring 33 goals during his 12 year spell at the club, while Louis Saha scored 42 goals during his four-and-a-half years spent at Old Trafford.

Manchester United group managing director, Richard Arnold, is expecting a huge turnout of fans and is hoping for another successful event in Jakarta.

He told "We had a great response to last year’s #IAMUNITED event in Jakarta, which prompted us to return.

"UNITED:LIVE is the club’s way of thanking our fans for their support, as well as giving our family of commercial partners the opportunity to engage and entertain them.

"We have around 54.5m followers in Indonesia, some of who are our most passionate fans."

The ballot for free tickets will open on Sunday, January 25 and fans can apply by visiting and successful applicants will be notified by email.
