John Terry was spotted taking a selfie with fans during the Masters at Alexandra Palace. The Chelsea captain was there watching Neil Robertson's 6-4 first round victory over Robert Milkins.

He'd either forgotten his selfie stick or had it confiscated by security at the door of the famous north London venue, with a fan just up the road at the Emirates Stadium having the latter fate on Sunday afternoon.

It was all smiles from the ex-England skipped as the group posed for the picture and it did not take long for the image to be shared on social media.

Given Terry's past indiscretions, fans reacted as expected on Twitter. The best of the responses were: "He probably stole that phone" and one fan took it a step further by saying: "He's probably sent that to Gary Cahill's missus."

The Chelsea legend is thick skinned and won't let that bother him as he prepares for a tough trip to Wales to face Garry Monk's Swansea City, who have just lost Wilfried Bony to Manchester City.

Chelsea go there with a two point advantage over Bony's new employers, and will look to maintain their position at the Premier League's summit.
